Promotion Plan
We approach in 2 ways for the promotion and publicize of our digital story project :
online digital promotion and offline activity.
Online digital promotion
Social media platforms: Please follow us on
Facebook pages, Instagram, Twitter ----- Snacktime2018
The user name of our social media is ‘Snacktime2018’.
In order to make sure we have a good connection between all the activities and posts of our project, we use the hashtag #rmitsnack (unused before), also we use #snacktime to connect with other posts of the same theme
Part 1:
Routine social media promotion
In this part of promotion, we basically focus on the introduction of i our topic, using online social media platforms to attract audience, increase followers.
Part 2:
Online activity: ‘My snack time- the story of my favorite snack’
By using few sentences to tell us the great memory that relates to the snack, our participants will post the picture of their favorite snacks on Instagram with hashtags #rmitsnack and #snacktime. The duration of this online activity will be one week. In the end, we will choose 3 winners who have the most likes on Instagram and give away our special snack gift bags.
Offline Activity
We are planing to hold on event that give out free snacks at RMIT city campus to introduce our project and social media campaign. Participants will get chance to taste different snacks and tell us about their favorite one, and the funny story, valuable memory of it. We will take photos and doing some short interviews from the event. At the same time, participants will be introduced our online Instagram campaign ‘My snack time- the story of my favorite snack’ as mentioned above and our hashtag #rmitsnack.
Designed flyers and posters will be used to help us promote the concept of our project.
